I REMEMBER: A POSTSCRIPT ON MEMORIAL DAY

I was honored to take part in ceremonies last weekend honoring our fallen heroes. As a U. S. Army veteran, my responsibility includes ensuring the memory of all comrades, honoring their service and mourning their ultimate sacrifice.

 The rendition of “Taps” punctuated the three-volley rifle salute several times this weekend and brought about these memories:
